Path is designed for long-term goals, staged plans, and daily progress. It focuses on relationships between goals instead of a flat list of tasks.

What is the difference between a goal and a plan?

Section titled “What is the difference between a goal and a plan?”

A goal describes the outcome you want. A plan describes how you intend to move toward it. You can break a long-term goal into smaller goals, then use plans for concrete action.

Start with one important goal, then add only the subgoals or plans you actually need. It is usually better to begin with a small real structure and expand it later.

Does Path schedule everything automatically?

Section titled “Does Path schedule everything automatically?”

Path helps you organize goals, plans, and progress, but it does not make opaque automatic decisions for you. You can still adjust your goals and plans as reality changes.
